Admission

The institution is open to all classes of students. Before a student is admitted he / she must be introduced to the Headmistress by his / her parent or guardian who will be responsible for the student's conduct and duties. An admission form obtained from the school must be duly filled in and signed by the parent or guardian and must be submitted to the Headmistress in the office. Incase of students to be admitted on transfer basis, a transfer certificate from the school last attended duly countersigned by the concerned Education Officer should accompany the admission form.

WITHDRAWALS

Application for the Transfer / Conduct / Sports certificates should be made by parent or guardian in writing.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

  1. The school includes classes from Nursery to S.S.L.C.
  2. The curriculum of Karnataka State is followed and the students are prepared for the S.S.L.C public examination.
  3. The medium of instruction is English.

School Rules / Guidelines (For Students)

General

  • Students must maintain a high standard of discipline at all times. Use of foul or abusive languages is considered to be a serious offence.
  • The name, class and section of the pupil should be neatly marked on all belongings of the pupil.
  • Class rooms and lockers must be kept clean at all times. Desks, books and shelves must be kept tidy. Desks, textbooks and exercise books must not be defaced in any way.
  • Any unclaimed article(s) found on the campus must be deposited with the lost & found in charge staff.
  • Students are not permitted to wear expensive watches / jewellery. The school will not be responsible for the loss of personal property brought to the school by students. Students will not bring or carry valuable articles such as Walkman, tape recorders, video games, cell phones etc. to school. The item will be confiscated and shall not be returned. Besides, disciplinary action will be taken against the student.
  • Any damage to the class / school property must be immediately reported to the class teacher / school authorities.
  • Vandalizing school property, throwing stones / sand / anything solid, indulging in colour throwing, or bursting crackers is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  • Students should adhere strictly to the rules and regulations of the school; failing which, they are liable for disciplinary action.
  • Students must always put on the correct uniforms / dress as specified for the day / occasion / event. The specified school dress should be neatly worn. Shirts should be neatly tucked into trousers / skirts and the school belt must be clearly visible. Low waist skirts and trousers are strictly prohibited. Socks must be at least six inches above the ankle. Shoes must be polished every day.
  • No colouring of hair is allowed. Students will be sent home if hair is coloured. Girls should plait their hair and it should be below the shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned. Long ponytail or open hair is not allowed. Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
  • Students are expected to respect the property of others, including school property. No student should damage any school furniture or belongings of others. Any damage done, even by accident, should be reported immediately to the Class Teacher. The damage done (with suitable fine) will be made good by the one who causes it. Students should be polite wherever they go and remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
  • No student shall indulge in any of the following practices:
    • Spitting in or near the school building
    • Disfiguring or damaging the school property
    • Rude behaviour
    • Use of violence in any form

The school reserves the right to suspend / expel the student, where progress or conduct / discipline is found to be unsatisfactory.

NOTE: The school reserves the right to amend / review the rules as and when required.
